Normal selling vs wholesale: the difference

Normal selling and wholesale use separated flows to avoid confusion between customer shopping and B2B activity.

Recommended steps

1

Normal selling

Customers use the public catalog, cart, checkout, regular orders, and seller standard options.

2

Wholesale B2B

Approved buyers use a private catalog, MOQ, requests, and separated B2B orders.

3

Supplier role

Approved sellers create wholesale offers and follow received requests or orders.

4

Buyer role

A customer or seller approved as a buyer browses the supplier catalog and follows B2B purchases.

Important notes

  • Wholesale does not modify normal checkout.
  • Taxes, invoices, shipping, and regular orders remain protected.
  • B2B access is controlled before use.
